This document should answer some basic questions regarding the class. Don't blame me about the bad style, most of the text is some years old and I didn't find the time to go over it.. but you'll understand it..

OK dude, slowly.. what is this all bout?

Man, you're sitting on my nerves... but you look nice to me, so I will try to explain it another time. Most developers from applications spend a lot of time for coding.. and I bet, with every second job you get, you have also the task to make an administration panel. You know - "then we have to do it ourselves" says the client, so a cute nice HTML-form-administration-panel. And all this has to be realized fast and secure. Exactly this was my situation, I saw how much time I loose on making things I've done already a bunch of times. So now there's Sessionara for solving this problem. Everytime you need to make an admin-panel, you include Sessionara and work with it for authenticating and all this stuff. Sure you can also use it without the task of an admin-panel, Sessionara is also helpful if you want generally pass or organise data between multiple pages or an entire project, without forcing the user to accept a cookie.

Can we (enterprise) use Sessionara and include it in our project/use in our intranet/whatever?

Generally no. I have to say, I'm not a master of license ("MOL"), but personally my meaning is no. As it goes under GPL, read the license from the Free Software Foundation, here. If you are an enterprise and want to enhance Sessionara, I give my personal OK. BUT: you have to tell me about the modifications and release it under GPL. That's the deal. If you're a developer for a enterprise, you've a task now and searching for a tool solving your problems and you're thinking 'oh, well, this one solves all, let's integrate it in our new intranet version', the reponse is clearly NO. not this way.. keep some spirit..

"Sessionara", why such a silly name?

Hm, ask something else. Don't know, as every project needs a name, this was the first that came in my mind. It's a combination from Session (oops, logic) and the japanese (I think so) word sayonara. Dont't know exactly what it meens, I guess it means 'bye' or something like that. It sais what it is - a kind of replacement of the PHP session handling.

What about your future plans on this?

Sessionara is now stabled, so I'm waiting for user input for improving it (if necessary). Every idea is welcomed to discuss it and integrate it in further releases. So if you have a feature that you miss in it, drop me an email. You can find my address at the bottom on the homepage of the php repository. If bug(s) appear, also then, a fixing release will come out.

Can I contribute?

Sure, that's a main reason why it's published as open source. I'm searching for people with the knowledge and ideas to improve the product, so I'm very pleased and glad if you contact me in order to help developing it..

It seems your dumb. True?

As cleverness, also dumbness is relative. But I'll agree with that.. ;)
